Brian G. Evans
Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Brian brings a life time of continued academia, scholarship in the sciences and emerging technologies along with vision and entrepreneurship to the foundation of Global Photonix. By 1981 Brian had become a leading pioneer in software engineering for the personal computer industry. Brian went on to build two software companies that went public and were subsequently purchased by the Blue Cross network.
In 2009, in a search for a new challenge, Brian discovered the excitement of LED technology and its emerging industries still in their infancy. Brian immersed himself in the study of all facets of LED science and technology which led to the development and deployment of the first large ultra-high definition outdoor mobile LED displays in the country.
Brian’s curiosity of LED science opened the door to the formation of Global Photonix. Brian continues to seek out and understand all new information related to the advancement of LED technology and integration to advanced manufacturing platforms, often spending extended periods of time traveling abroad. The information impacting the advancement of LED technology is diverse and varied, including semiconductor packaging, geometric placement, bonding technologies, new substrate technologies, development of completed display systems & circuitry and the engineering of installation methodology.
This knowledge base gives Global Photonix an industry advantage in manufacturing LED modules and displays for tomorrows exciting digital display industry and the consumer himself in the United States and around the world at the most competitive pricing in the industry.Brian received his undergraduate education in Economic Science at the University of Pennsylvania and continued on to graduate studies in Economics and Analytical Engineering at the University of New Mexico.
Mark brings to Global Photonix proven leadership and discipline sculptured with diverse professional experiences and excellent interpersonal skills. He undertakes each project with a results-oriented approach, focusing on providing the best solution and the highest quality service and product in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
After graduating college, Mark began his professional career as an accounting and finance manager for several fortune 500 companies, often reporting directly to the CFO and/or CEO. Mark developed a thorough understanding of manufacturing, cost accounting, budget and forecast preparation, financial statement preparation & analysis and managing small and large groups of people.
After working in the accounting & finance fields for eight years, Mark decided to pursue a career in law. After graduating law school, Mark worked as senior counsel for Fleet National Bank and later for Bank of America. As senior counsel, Mark provided counsel to many departments within the banks including leasing, asset based lending, workout, mergers & acquisitions and structured finance. During his five years as senior counsel to the structured finance group, Mark negotiated very large and complex domestic and international transactions for a wide variety of asset types. He also managed large legal budgets and teams of outside counsel for each transaction.
In 2007, Mark formed the law firm of Martineau, Davis & Associates with colleague Emile Martineau. Mark managed all facets of the law office including a staff of four lawyers and four paralegals. Mark was primarily responsible for the firm’s corporate clients.
Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island and his Juris Doctor from the New England School of Law. Mark is a member of the state and federal bars in Rhode Island.
Jeanne Sullivan Evans
Jeanne brings a wealth of communications, social media and customer relations to the Global Team. She is deeply rooted in the Rhode Island business community and has been so since her first entrepreneurial launch, Promotion with Motion. Promotion with Motion pioneered the first large format high resolution digital LED mobile billboard which served numerous companies.
PWM served as brand ambassador for Yuengling Brewery, Cox Communications, Network Insights NY, Food Democracy.org, #ActionClimate, Berkshire Hathaway, CES Boxing, Alex and Ani, Providence College Friars, etc. In addition Jeanne was the visual background for Dave Bautista, former MMA .and CES Boxing and Entertainment.
Prior to her launch into the entrepreneurial world Jeanne served the senior executive office of the lottery giant, GTECH. In her capacity she headed the documentation center and was responsible for all domestic and international lottery proposal development and deployments.
Jeanne is a double major graduate of Rhode Island College with degrees in Mass Communications and Musical Theatre.
